A WOOD CARVED MASK NETUSKE Japan, 19th century Wood. H. 3.3 cm. The netsuke is carved as a mask of an old lady and a pine tree on the back, signed "Masayuki" with kakihan. With traces of use, partially stained and damaged, probably restored. Provenance: From an old private collection in North Rhine-Westphalia.
