Description
A GOLD LACQUER AND INLAID FOUR-CASE INRO Japan, 19th century Lacquerware. H. 7.7 cm. This inro is decorated with a landscape in takamaki-e on a mura-nashiji ground and inlaid cranes in mother-of-pearl. The interior of the inro is of nashiji. With traces of use, partially cracked and abraded.
