EIN GETREIDE-MANDALA AUS SILBER

A SILVER GRAIN MANDALA China (Tibet), 19th/20th century Silver, partially probably gilt. D. 15.8 cm. The mandala set consists of fiver components. The base is decorated with four dvipas, represented in four groups according to their respective shapes. The upper parts are carved with the "Seven Regal Treasures" and the "Eight Auspicious Symbols", divided by floral patterns. With traces of use, partially abraded. Provenance: From a private collection in Tyrol, acquired directly from Sangha from Tibet in the second half of the 20th century.
