A WALRUS TUSK CARVED NETSUKE OF A MONKEY Japan, early 19th century Walrus tusk. H. 4.4 cm. The netsuke is carved as a seated monkey wearing a vest, holding an inro with both hands. It is signed 'Hidekazu' on the bottom. With traces of age and use.
