PHILIPS DE KONINCK 1619 Amsterdam - 1688 ibid. DRINKING WOMAN Oil on oak panel. 33.5 x 25.5 cm (F. 46.5 x 38.5 cm). Signed and dated upper right 'P. Koninck 1649'. Part. slight old rest., part. min. old retouching. Frame. Comparable paintings, likewise dating from the year 1649, are located in Manchester and in a private collection. Accompanied by an expert opinion by Prof. Dr Werner Sumowski dated 9 July 1985, in which Sumowski notes that he intends to include the painting in his book Gemälde der Rembrandt-Schüler.
