TABLE CLOCK WITH PUTTO German, F. Schlesicky, Frankfurt, circa 1860 Wood, carved, metal, enamel. 39 x 27 x 15 cm. Inscribed on the dial 'F. Schlesicky Frankfurt'; inscribed on the movement 'F. Schlesicky Paris Frankfurt'. Richly carved base decorated with rocaille and floral motifs, crowned by a fully sculpted putto with a cornucopia and flower. Enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals. Ornamented hands. Partially damaged; function untested; with key.
