DIRECTOIRE PORTAL CLOCK France, late 18th century Marble, bronze, gilt, enamel, metal, steel. 56.5 x 36 x 11 cm. Rectangular base with rounded edges and gilt bronze appliqués on four bronze feet. Bronze-decorated columns. White enameled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and ornamental hands. Vase finial. Partially damaged; function untested; with key and sun pendulum.
