LUISE FEDERN-STAUDINGER 1879-1967 SEATED FEMALE NUDE Terracotta, fully modeled in the round. H. 42, W. 30, D. 29 cm. Signed and dated '1941' on the back of the plinth; '1942' and '8' incised on the underside. Seated female nude in a calm, introspective pose. Knees drawn up and covered by a cloth; head slightly inclined, gaze directed thoughtfully toward the ground. Minor chips.
