On the base inscribed 'To 29.6.1951', 'Thorak'. Full sculptural depiction of lovers embracing each other. One of the last works of the artist Josef Thorak. Part. rubbed and bumped, rest. on one arm, verso Luchtenberg collection inventory number 'B/z 57'. Provenance: Luchtenberg Foundation.
