UNKNOWN SCULPTOR Active in the 19th/20th century LARGE AND SMALL TORSO OF APHRODITE (MEDICI TYPE) Plaster, fully modeled, on a large pedestal. H. 157 and 42 cm. Numbered '106' on the back of the pedestal and plaque, after an original from the 3rd century BC. Large-format nude representation of Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Partially bumped and damaged, rubbed.
