An exceptional carved erotic ivory sculpture depicting a nude, masked woman in a lascivious pose atop a large lizard. This unusual composition combines a sensual subject with an imaginative animal motif, following the tradition of Japanese export art from the early 20th century. Minor drying cracks and age-related discoloration; claws damaged.
