RISEN CHRIST German, 18th century Wood, sculpted, gilded, polychrome, on a pedestal. H. 55, W. 34, D. 15 cm, weight approx. Depiction of the risen Christ with his hand raised in blessing. The stigmata on his hands and the wound in his side iconographically refer to the Passion and at the same time affirm the triumphant Resurrection. Partially preserved, damaged, rest., loss of paint, gold abrasion.
