A RARE AND FINE ICON SHOWING ST. TIKHON OF KALUGA Russian, circa 1800 Tempera on wood panel. The elongated figure of the monastic saint wearing the Great Schema, with a monastery on the opposite side, Christ emerging in blessing at the upper left corner, against a gold background. Minimally restored. 30.8 x 26.4 cm.
