A RARE ICON SHOWING THE GUARDIAN ANGEL Central Russian, late 19th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. Finely executed in great detail with gold highlights and chrysography. Two selected saints on the borders, the Metropolitan Peter of Moscow among them. Partially restored. 26.2 x 22.1 cm.
