A RARE ICON SHOWING THE DOG-HEADED ST. CHRISTOPHERUS WITH BASMA Russian, 17th century Tempera on wood panel with double kovcheg and with fabric backing. Tempera on wood panel. The borders overlaid with metal foil decorated with scrolling foliage. Partially restored. 31 x 26.5 cm.
