A VERY RARE AND FINE ICON SHOWING 'THE UNSLEEPING EYE' Russian, probably 17th century Tempera on wood panel with double kovcheg. The haloes made of gold. Painted with dark colours and dense chrysography on Christ's chiton on cream ground. Minimally restored, wearings. 30.4 x 25.9 cm.
