A VERY FINE SIGNED ICON SHOWING THE DEISIS Russian, Syzran, Alexander Arkhipovitch Bochkarev, circa 1900 Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The haloes made in gold. The garments folds emphasised with strong gold striations. Two selected saints on the borders: Guardian Angel and St. Peter of Athos. With Cyrillic workshop stamp on the reverse. 22.2 x 19 cm.
