A VERY FINE ICON OF THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST AND THE MAJOR LITURGICAL FEASTS Russian, circa 1900 Tempera on wood panel. Against a gold tooled background, the patterns of spandrels and borders emulating contemporary metal oklads. Finely painted in miniature and with translucent pigments and intricate chrysography. Minimally worn, minimally restored. 35.1 x 30.5 cm.
