A FINE ICON SHOWING THE MOTHER OF GOD 'O VSEPYETAYA MATI' (O ALL-HYMNED MOTHER) Russian, 18th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The haloes and background made of gold. Two selected saints on the borders: Guardian Angel and St. Demetrius. The border stripped to gesso, partially restored. 31 x 27.5 cm.
