A VERY FINE ICON SHOWING THE MOTHER OF GOD 'THE LIFE-GIVING SOURCE' Russian, Moscow, Mikhail Ivanovich Dikarev (attributed), circa 1900 Tempera on wood panel with double kovcheg. The elongated figures rendered delicately, the opulent vestments executed with great precision. All rendered in bright colours and with the drapery heightened with chrysography. The border stripped to levkas. 31.2 x 26.6 cm.
