A VERY FINE ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR Russian, Moscow, early 20th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The halo and border made of gold. Painted in fine detail on a blue ground, Christ depicted half-length making a sign of blessing with his right hand and holding the open Gospel Book in the other. Minor areas of retouching. 31 x 26.5 cm.
