A MONUMENTAL ICON SHOWING THE ENTHRONED MOTHER OF GOD Greek, 17th century Tempera on wood panel. The Mother of God seated on a carved, wooden throne, supporting Christ, the latter blessing with both hands. Painted with saturated colours, predominantly reds and blues. Partially restored. 87.5 x 53.7 cm.
