A MONUMENTAL ICON SHOWING ST. JOHN CHRYSOSTOM FROM A CHURCH ICONOSTASIS Russian, circa 1800 Tempera on gessoed wood panel with kovcheg. The icon finely painted with extensive ornamental detail. The border and background of the icon stripped to the levkas, partially restored. 89 x 70 cm.
