A MONUMENTAL DATED ICON SHOWING THE IVERSKAYA MOTHER OF GOD Mount Athos, Pantokratoros Monastery, dated 1899 Oil on wood panel. The golden background incised with sunburst pattern. Minor vertical crack restored, minor areas of retouching. On the reverse Cyrillic inscription with date and signature. 107.3 x 70.4 cm.
