A SMALL ICON SHOWING THE KAZANSKAYA MOTHER OF GOD WITH SILVER-GILT OKLAD WITHIN KYOT Russian, mid-19th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, 1845 (oklad) Oil on wood panel. The silver-gilt oklad chased with rocaille scrolls, rosettes and foliate motifs. Struck with city hallmark, assayer's mark, maker's initials 'SE' in Cyrillic and 84 standard. 25.7 x 23.5 cm (including glazed kyot).
