A SMALL ICON SHOWING ST. GEORGE KILLING THE DRAGON Russian, late 19th century Tempera on wood panel. The background made of silver, covered by a golden lacquer. The borders painted with ornate strapwork and faux cloisonné enameling. Two selected saints on the borders: Blaise and Alexandra. 26.4 x 21.8 cm.
