A SMALL ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR WITH A SILVER-GILT OKLAD WITHIN KYOT Russian, early 20th century (icon), Russian, 1st Artel, 1908-1917 (oklad) Oil on wood panel. The silver-gilt oklad finely engraved with a radiating reeded ground, the robes repoussé and chased in trompe l'oeil style. Marked with assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark '1JaA' in Cyrillic. 21.8 x 19.3 cm (with glazed kyot).
