A SMALL ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR WITH A SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL OKLAD Russian, early 20th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, Dmitriy Alexandrovitch Egorov, 1908-1917 (oklad) Oil on wood panel with velvet backing. Overlaid with a silver-gilt oklad. The halo and spandrels enamelled with a floral ornament in opaque pastel shades. Marked with assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'D.E.' in Cyrillic. 13.4 x 11.1 cm.
