AN ICON SHOWING THE IVERSKAYA MOTHER OF GOD WITH SILVER-GILT OKLAD Russian, circa 1900 (icon), Russian, Moscow, Ivan Alekseevitch Alekseev, 1896-1908 (oklad) Oil on wood panel with velvet backing. Overlaid with a silver-gilt oklad. The silver oklad decorated with etched designs. Marked with assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'IA' in Cyrillic. Minor paint loss. 26.2 x 21.8 cm.
