Description
AN ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR WITH RIZA Russian, 19th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. Overlaid with an engraved brass riza decorated with scrolling foliage. Later applied with fragments of brass icons. The background stripped to gesso, restored. 31 x 26.2 cm.
