A VERY LARGE VITA ICON OF ST. NICHOLAS OF MYRA Russian, circa 1875 Tempera on wood panel. The background made of silver, covered by a golden lacquer. The borders painted with ornate strapwork and faux cloisonné enameling. Minor areas of retouching. 44.5 x 37.2 cm.
