A LARGE AND RARE ICON SHOWING THE LIBERATION OF ST. PETER Russian, probably 19th century or later Tempera on wood panel. The haloes and background made of gold. Five selected saints on the borders, St. John the Forerunner among them. The edges minimally chipped. 46.8 x 37 cm.
