A LARGE AND VERY FINE ICON SHOWING THE VLADIMIRSKAYA MOTHER OF GOD WITH A SILVER-GILT OKLAD Russian, probably Moscow, mid 18th century Oil on wood panel. The silver-gilt oklad richly chased and repoussé with rocailles and flowers. The oklad marked twice '12'. Halo missing, paint losses. 45.8 x 35.5 cm.
