A FINE AND LARGE ICON OF SAINT MAKARIY OF ZELTYE VODY Russian, 17th century Tempera on wood panel. Traditionally painted in strong colours, the Saint full length in attitude of prayer facing the Old Testamtent Trinity in the upper left corner, against a golden background. Vertical crack restored. 48 x 39.5 cm.
