A VERY LARGE MENOLOGICAL ICON FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER Central Russian, late 19th century Tempera on wood panel. Finely executed in great detail on gold ground. The borders incised and painted with ornate strapwork and faux cloisonné enameling. Minor losses, wearings. 53 x 43.8 cm.
