A LARGE ICON OF ST. NICHOLAS OF MYRA Probably Raja (Estonia), Frolov Brother, circa 1900 Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. Nicholas shown blessing with his right hand and holding an open book of Gospels. Flanking his head are images of Christ (left) and the Mother of God (right). Two family saints on the borders. Minor losses. 44.4 x 37.8 cm.
