A LARGE ICON SHOWING ST. JOHN THE FORERUNNER FROM A DEISIS Russian, 2nd half of the 19th century Tempera on wood paenl. The background made of silver, covered by a golden lacquer. The border incised with foliage. Two selected saints on the borders: Guardian Angel and St. Kondratiy. The edges partially chipped, partially restored. 43 x 35.7 cm.
