A LARGE ICON SHOWING THE RESURRECTION AND THE DESCENT INTO HELL WITH THE NEW TESTAMENT TRINITY Russian, circa 1800 Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The haloes and background made of gold. Finely painted in great detail, the folds of the garments are rendered in gold. Minor damages to the edges, partially restored. 34.8 x 29.5 cm.
