A LARGE ICON SHOWING ST. NICHOLAS OF MYRA Russian, late 18th century Tempera on wood panel. The haloes made of silver, covered by a golden lacquer. The icon finely painted with ornamental detail. Two selected saints on the borders: Guardian Angel and St. John the Forerunner. Minor wearings, the border partially restored. 42.1 x 38.8 cm.
