A FINE AND LARGE ICON OF 'ALL SAINTS, MIRACLE-WORKERS OF NOVGOROD' Russian, 18th century Tempera on wood panel, gesso, and gilding. The garments are ornamented with great care, showing folds and vegetal motifs. Very fine modeling of the flesh tones. The background stripped to the gesso, lower border partly restored. 54 × 42 cm.
