A FINE ICON SHOWING THE MOTHER OF GOD OF THE SIGN WITH SILVER OKLAD Russian, 18th century (icon), Russian, Moscow, 1822 (oklad) Tempera on wood panel. The silver oklad chased and repoussé. Marked with city hallmark, assayer's mark, 84 standard and master's mark 'Ya. MEN' in Cyrillic. The halo damaged and added later, restored. 32.5 x 26.8 cm.
