The narrative of the Nativity shown on two registers: above, in a mountainous surrounding, the Adoration of the Magi and the announcement of the Divine event to the shepherds, and below, Joseph's dream and the flight into Egypt, the deep colours used for the figures and their garments contrasting with the brighter colours of the background. The border stripped to gesso, partially restored. 31 x 26.3 cm.
