A FINE ICON SHOWING THE OLD TESTAMENT TRINITY Russian, 17th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The haloes made of gold. The composition painted in detail, mostly with tones of green and red, the wings of the angels accentuated with gold highlights. Losses, restored. 31.8 x 25.6 cm.
