A FINE ICON SHOWING STS. ZOSIMA AND SAVATIY Russian, 18th century Tempera on wood panel. Finely painted in detail against a golden background, the saints shown full length in attitude of supplication, Solovetskii Monastery in the background, with Christ in clouds above. Minimally restored. 31.2 x 26.8 cm.
