A FINE ICON SHOWING ST. ANTIPAS Russian, 18th/19th century Tempera on gessoed wood panel. Executed on a gold ground. 28,8 x 24,9 cm. The central icon is set into the panel and flanked by four selected saints: St. John Chrysostom and Gregory the Great and the warrior saints George and Theodore. Backside with worm holes.
