A FINE ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR WITH OKLAD Russian, 2nd half of the 19th century Tempera on wood panel. The haloes and background made of gold. The brass oklad chased and repoussé with foliate bands. Four selected saints on the borders, Sts. Theodore and George among them. Vertical crack restored, the edges minimally chipped. 33.2 x 27 cm.
