A FINE DATED ICON SHOWING A SELECTION OF SIX PATRON SAINTS, STS. FLORUS AND LAURUS, GEORGE AND JOHN THE WARRIOR AMONG THEM Russian, school of Romanov Borisoglebsk, dated 1800 Tempera on wood panel. The background made of gold. Six selected saints on the borders, the Three Holy Youths in the Fiery Furnace Ananias, Azariah, and Mishael among them. Dated lower right. Minimally restored. 30.7 x 27.5 cm.
