A SMALL ICON SHOWING THE MOTHER OF GOD 'SEEKING OF THE LOST' WITHIN KYOT Russian, 19th century Tempera on wood panel. The haloes and border made of gold. Four selected saints on the borders, the Guardian Angel and Symeon the Stylite among them. The border minimally restored. On the reverse Cyrillic isncribed and dated '1917'. 17.8 x 14.5 cm (without glazed kyot).
