A VERY FINE EXTENDED BRASS AND ENAMEL CRUCIFIX Russian, c.1800 Cast in relief, eight-colour enamelled, remains of gilding. Enamel very slightly chipped. 21.5 cm high. Provenance: Exhibition 'Church Treasures of the Christian East and Metal Icons', Kunsthalle Recklinghausen, 9.3-13.4.1986 (color illustration on the catalog cover).
