VIOLIN AND BOW 'SEELING DRESDEN' Probably German, circa 1900 Two-piece spruce top and maple back, brown varnish. 4/4 violin; total length 59.8 cm, body length 35.9 cm. Unlabeled. Bow (Beginning 20th century): round stick, single eye, winding, thumb leather, length 74.4 cm, marked 'Seeling Dresden', with some damage/wear and missing head plate. Violin shows some damage/wear and a crack in the top, rest.
